Interested in the Catholic Church?
OCIA classes begin Tuesday, September 15
OCIA (the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) is a series of classes to prepare adults to enter into Full Communion with the Catholic Church. Classes will be held every Tuesday evening at 6:15pm in the St. Thomas More social hall beginning on September 15th. If you are interested in becoming Catholic, completing your sacraments if already Catholic, or just learning more about what Catholics believe, come to the classes! All are welcome! New Mass Volunteers Training
Thursday, September 10 | 6:30pm
All Confirmed members of the pastorate are invited to attend training for new lectors, ushers, and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion. The training will be held Thursday, Sept 10th at 6:30pm in the sanctuary at St. Thomas More. These ministries are vital to the life of our parishes and more help is always needed! Scheduling is very flexible. Please consider volunteering to help in one of these important roles!
Our Lady of Good Counsel Fall Dinner
Sunday, September 27 | 11:30am-1:30pm
Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Elkton invites you to our Fall Dinner & Country Store on Sunday, September 27 from 11:30am to 1:30pm in St. Mary's Hall next to the church. Enjoy broasted chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, glazed carrots, corn, coleslaw, and desserts. Adults $15, Children (5-10) $10, and Children 4 & under free. Come enjoy great food, fellowship, and our Country Store!
The submission deadline for announcements to be included in the Sunday bulletin is 5:00pm on Monday the week you would like the announcement to run.
